A downloadable game for Windows

Parcel is a short first person narrative horror game. You are Derek, and Parcels with dioramas are delivered to your office. You explore them to find clues. Phone up your wife, Amily, and give her the right directions, as the clues might save her life. Who is stalking Amily, and who is behind the mysterious Parcels?

  • Explore in first person. Pickup and inspect objects.
  • A complete small story about the fear of losing a loved one.
  • Art style reminiscent of the early 2000s
  • Voice acted phone calls with branching dialogue paths.
  • Multiple endings, including a hidden "true" ending.

Known Issues:

  • There's no save and load, therefore we've left in the hidden level select screen. If you lose and have a game over, you can jump back by opening the debug menu (F1) and select the level to restart.
  • In the bird eye view of the diorama or in the game-over sequence, sometimes the game soft-locks and no dialogue appears. If this happens, open the debug menu (F1 and click on the button with the diorama's name, lower left, to reload the level correctly).
  • Sometimes the grab icon is stuck in the middle of the screen. This is only a visual bug.

(Minor Spoilers)

I loved the game! It's super creative and engaging. I figured out 98% of the game, but had to use the F1 menu to skip the chase scene because I couldn't find the basement key no matter how hard I looked. Fantastic work!

So i just played the game and beat it so I think I am confident in saying I am the first to beat this game :3 I am not too sure what ending I got but I did do a playthrough that i need to edit together and upload!

Awesome! I wonder what you think about the ending!

certainly a twist I wasn’t expecting honestly 😂

Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the game, I ran into a big bug and another similar one on my second try. HOWEVER, you have a golden idea here, I think the concept is brilliant and very intriguing. I hope, you’ll develop this further because it is a gorgeous concept that's really fun to play.

Hey, thank you for playing and the nice comments!!

Am going to fix these issues as soon as possible. What happened is that you got a game over, but the game over cutscene wasn't triggered when the level was loaded. This can randomly happen.

Using F1 you can select the level where you left off. and it should work, if you ever want to revisit it before it is patched.

Thanks for the info, good to know that I basically got a (bad) ending, even though I am very sad for my dear wife :D
Unfortunately, I played this during an internet breakdown, so could not look at your page, I saw the F1 fix after recording. But I'll follow you, to see your next projects because your ideas are really cool.

Marvelous prototype, really good atmosphere, our playthrough however we couldn't get into the 2nd parcel sadly. The concept is solid and the voice acting is good, thank you Devs for this spooky piece of art! (2nd video in lineup, honestly this should have been its own video)

Thank you for playing and the nice comments!

This is a known issue we're looking into. If you ever decide to revisit the game you can press F1 anywhere and press Apartment_Diorama to continue playing.

The game crash each time I finish clues in diorama of the supermarket.

Thank you for the report. I have confirmed this issue in the v1.0.1 update. I have rolled back the download to an earlier version, in which this doesn't happen. We'll be working on it!

94/100 VERY GOOD

Thank you for playing!

Loved the concept, great story and interactivity. Might be on my end, but the mouse sensitivity was crazy high.

Thanks for playing and thanks for the nice comments!

There currently isn't an option to adjust the sensivity, but we might add it later. Turning down the sensivity in windows should also lower it in ingame.

No worries! I thoroughly enjoyed the game and the concept! And Thankyou! I’ll keep my eye out for more from yourself in the future!

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was a cool horror game about a Father looking for his daughter and trying to protect his wife from harm at the same time. I enjoyed the storytelling in the game and I loved the voice-acting for the game but I am kinda lost at the Apartment Diorama where I have no idea why am I not allowed to tell Amily where the location of the car key is. I wasn't given the additional option to save her life so I was wondering if Amily is meant to die or something.  However, I really liked the idea of entering dioramas and investigating what is going on in the diorama by going into the diorama. Other than that, it would be cool if there were more details added to the game as on example is the main character's office looking kinda run-down.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

Thank you for playing the game!

It is indeed a bit weird that after you found the keys in the bathroom, you get a game over if you send her to the bathroom. This was initially placed as bait, but currently there aren't enough hints to tell the player when it is safe to enter the bathroom for the car keys. We'll look into improving that!

At the end of the story everything is revealed and you'll have a better understanding of how the office came to be. (Hint, press F1 for the hidden level select to jump back to where you were) Sadly as it was a school project we didn't have enough time to polish it and add more detail.

So sad that the radio is full of copyrighted music :(

Thanks for pointing that out, I'll look into this asap.

I say full of.. but I only tested the first song on youtube. :) but since that is copyrighted im sure the rest is too? :)

Well, we don't want any of that. The radio wil be replaced in the upcoming patch.
